May I ask who you are, what these links are to and are they relevant to a re-enactment site?

Thanks for posting, things are very busy for us at the moment, we mainly do a lot of discussions on the Battalia forum these days. Unfortunately I can not find what the link is to and be aware if it isnt friendly it will be removed. Please enjoy the site, we are about to under go a rebuild and update.

Hi Chas,

Great to hear from you, I hope all is well with you and the family, I guess the little ones ain't that little any more?

I am currently down south in the Falklands on my second tour here, I should be back in July all being well. Julie is currently dealing with the two lads and the Staffy Bull Terrior, tends to keep her busy! Allen is now 3 and Max is only 6 months, he will be 8 months by the time I get back so I have already missed half his life, thats life in a blue suit, or green as it is at the moment.

I am on 1435 Flt, which is the Tornado Flt here, time seems to be going quick, but then it usally does when your drunk.

How's things with yourself? still in Lincoln with the EH? or have you moved on?

It would be great to see you guys agian, if you send me your details via the CONTACT US link I would be happy to let you know off any events near you, perhaps you would be able to make the banquet? Geoff Hardy and his clan pop along, also Ali and Ian Tindle are still around as well as Andy Munroe. We occasionaly see Dave Rumble at events.

The pike block are still as mad as ever and the muskett block are not far behind. We have some real great characters in the Regiment and we are keeping up with the standard of mayhem and meeriment you were use too.

Hope to hear from you again soon, take care and all the best Scotty.

P.S. Dave Evans is now muskett officer and I have been boosted to Major, now thats scary.

Angela,

Cheers for that clarification, I actually meant membership cards rather than forms, but I guess they would be on the list so it does not matter about having the cards.

Angela,

You wrote
"As things stand, whoever is manning the gate at Newark will be very, very busy indeed completing white cards or taking details of those who have not yet submitted their memberships,"

Can we presume from this comment, that if people have not recieved their membership, or have recently sent it and you have not recieved it, that they will be allowed in to the event.

Scotty

Paper armies are a wonderfull thing, must admit we might not be the size we were a few years ago, but then if your honest! who is. It is something we are working on, and at least we can say we were one of the first in the Battalia.

Dear all,

Sorry that you have not had any info yet but there seems to be a prob on our events list. I have tried to put the dates up on events and also submit a news article. Unfortunately without success.

The score is this, due to cetain problems with the original hall things got delayed. I was then out of country with work.

We have now arranged a new better site (which has not exactly been easy!) and the invites are on the way.

The date unfortunately has changed, it will now be on the 16/17 April at Baskerville hall.

I have sent e-mails to try to keep people updated but some addresses are not working. (Andy & Mandy, unfortunately yours is one)

Here is the web site if you wish to have a Butchers.

http://www.baskervillehall.co.uk

If you have any questions on this or anything else, now or in the future that you feel have not been answerd then contact me. You all should have my contact details, so do not be afraid to use them!

Yours in the service of God and Parliment

Scotty

Hopefully you should all know that i am the CO if not, then this could be a shock to you. But i am afraid there is no going back, the window of opportunity is gone for now. Any how here is some info.
I joined in 1987, i was a musketeer for 5-6 years (so i can see both sides of the coin) then became a pikeman (found salvation so my sole is safe) where i had many a happy time in the middle of a scrap or ham acting death scenes some of wich are still talked about almost as much as the conversations about various drunk times , then progressed through the ranks to be where i am now, i am married to Julie who is in the artillery but we cant all be perfect. We have recently been joined in our live by Allen our 8 week old son (who shall be a waltons pikeman).
We are currently living in N. Yorks.
